Schools are allocated money by the government to develop opportunities for P.E. within the school curriculum and beyond. Pondhu uses this money in a variety of ways:
- To provide transport to a range of sporting fixtures and events.
- CPD opportunities for staff
- KS1 and KS2 P.E. equipment
- Mid-Cornwall Sports Network membership
- New sports clothing for pupils
- Subsidising the cost of Swimming
- The employment of a PE Teaching Assistant in the Autumn term 2019 - to provide a greater number and range of after school clubs; to work as a play leader, running games for the children at playtimes and lunchtimes; to organise and attend sporting events across the Mid- Cornwall Sports Network and beyond.
